As the 2008 Archery season approaches my anxiety and anticipation has grown immensly. I have never had the chance to actually do any archery hunting, but I have had a practice bow for a couple of years now. This year, I have decided to once again trade off my "old" bow and purchase a new one. I'm purchasing a new bow from Votruba Archery, a Mathew's dealer, out of Fairview, KS. My husband had purchased a 2006 Mathew's Switchback XT from him a few years ago and we've been very satisified with his customer service. I've had my eye on a Mathew's Mustang for the last two years, but the draw length isn't quite long enough for me. I kept telling Casey that I wished Mathews' would put a 27" to 28" cam on the mustang. It hasn't happened yet. Anyhow, he pointed me to one of his new lines, Mission Archery by Mathews. It comes with the same Limited Lifetime Warranty that Mathews offers on their top-of-the-line products, it just isn't as expensive. I decided to purchase the Mission X-3. It has some awesome specs for a lower end bow :
